Himil (noun) From the Proto-Germanic Himilaz. Heaven meant as Firmament, Elysian Fields, Paradise. Imagine waking up in a lucid dream. You hear someone's screams coming from far away. Anxiety and the inability to manage emotions rationally. You don't know why but you feel that is your destiny. Inspired by an umbrian legend, this is the dream of Imiltrude who was a girl probably lived in 1237 in the land of Gualdum, hidden village at the borders of eastern Umbria. The fourteenth-century chronicles remember that girl as Maleficent. She was sentenced to death for having caused the fire that destroyed the city. This is the part where Hollywood is distant, where excesses are useless and where living is more important than dreaming. It is the city where an old man with an accordion is the guardian of time: wise, silent and yet slightly mocking.

Spoon Rest is the illustration of the metaphor of addiction and of its delicate ferocity. The troubles to rise, to breathe and to be, are in conflict with the changing joys of being able to create music. A tight groove and a vocal line at the limit of schizophrenia open the doors to the purest and wonderful melody.
